I have realized that on your 5th day on Dukan attack phase you get pretty good at your meal plan. For some reason I found the plain Greek yogurt that is allowed is kind of bitter. Here's my pleasant solution.

Take your yogurt and give it a good stir. Place however much you want in your bowl. Mix a good amount of truvia or spenda to sweeten depending on how much you have. I like to put about a nickel size. Continue to stir. Add Vanilla extract and stir, stir, stir until it is all blended.. It's so yum!

This is my personal recipe to help get me through the Dukan diet. It is amazing and delicious and there is nothing diet tasting about it! Please enjoy!

preheat oven to bake at 365

1 package of ground buffalo meat

garlic powder

red pepper flakes- optional

worcestershire sauce low sodium

1 egg

1 1/2 whole wheat bran

pinch salt

pepper

mix all of it together in a bowl with hands till the meat is in one giant ball

take small pich and roll in your hands and place on cookie sheet until the meat is all in balls

put in oven and bake for 12-14 minutes until golden

stuff your mouth and don't feel guilty!!! yuuuummm

Pecan Bars

I took these bars to a work party bake sale and they went over wonderfully. It's so easy you gotta try it for the holidays. It's wayyyy better than pecan pie. Try try try it!

Ingredients

Crust:

1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) cold unsalted butter, cubed, plus more for dish
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Filling:

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar
Pinch salt
1/3 light corn syrup
1/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
3 cups coarsely chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a 13 by 9-inch baking dish with foil allowing an overhang about 2 inches off the sides. Butter the foil.

In a food processor, blend together flour, sugar, butter and salt until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Add 2 tablespoons cold water and mix until the dough just holds together. Press dough into bottom of buttered baking dish and bake in oven until golden in color, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the filling. In a stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, add the butter, brown sugar and a pinch of salt and mix on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the corn syrup, flour and pecans and mix until just combined. Spread the filling over the baked crust and bake until golden brown, about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan.

Remove from pan by pulling up the foil sides and putting it on a cutting board. Cut bars in desired size with a sharp knife and arrange them on a serving tray. Can be stored in an airtight container up to 2 days.

Happy Fall everyone! With Fall comes Thanksgiving. I think with the holiday madness it's hard to sit down and give thanks. I realized how important this was today. I came across my dear friend Casey's facebook page today and my heart and mind were filled with all sorts of feelings. Casey passed away from cancer about 7 months ago. She left behind a daughter, boyfriend and extended family. I thought immediately how lucky I am to have known her. The most amazing thing is when she was taken, God put Seth in my life and for that I cannot be more thankful.

Today as I drove home from work I saw the leaves falling and the temperature was just right. I was once again thankful. I had just met the nicest people and I was telling my Mom all the excitement that had happened from today. I clicked over to talk to Seth who had called to tell me he had landed at his destination. He was telling me how difficult his day had been, but I smiled so big when he told me that he wasn't discouraged, he was just going to keep rolling because everything that had happened was out of his control. Wow.. I am so thankful to have such an amazing and positive person in my life.

I literally was on cloud nine. I sat down at home and turned on the tv to Bravo.. I rarely change from this channel.. I'm very thankful for Real Housewives. About an hour later I got a call from a dear friend in tears telling me that her sweet boyfriend had cancer. It took all I had to hold back my own tears. My heart ached for both of them. I wanted to support her through this time because I know how great of a girlfriend she is and how much they love each other. I was so thankful to have a friend call on me. So please say a prayer for my sweet friends as they go through this together. I think these things that happen in our lives are God's way of telling us to be humble and to be thankful for everything he has given us.. I know I felt that today and I'M SO THANKFUL!

Well I got a part time job.. at Anthropologie. I just started and I love it. The smell, the music and of course the clothes. Its so great. Today we got to try on outfits and describe why we chose them and how they fit. Oh my gosh best day ever. I tried on the most delicious electric blue trench coat with high neck ruffles and sinch waist with a polka dot blue blouse with little gold buttons.. oh my gosh TO DIE FOR!!!! Well it's official I'm truly unemployed. I graduated from portfolio school, but continue to work on my book... it seems nothing is ever really finished. 3 days after graduation I woke up to a horrible sore throat and 3 days later I'm still sick. So as I write this I am unemployed, sick, and have had my hair in a ponytail for so many days that my hair hurts...girls you know what I mean. I know you feel sorry for me. Spicy Little Jerk.. Chicken Salad

I made this recipe up.. but it is easy, quick and delicious!

My boyfriend loves chicken salad as do I...so today I tried using what I had in my kitchen and it turned out incredible.

Here's whatcha need.

1 grocery store rotisserie chicken..

4 stalks of celery

1/2 cup of chipotle mayonnaise (you can use however much you need)

4 splashes of tabasco

candied walnuts or pecans (you can find these in the nut aisle)

jerk chicken seasoning (in the spice aisle)

salt/pepper

red grapes (optional)

Take the skin off the chicken with your hands and the proceed to peel the chicken off the body. Once you have taken off all the chicken, chop up your celery and add it to your mixing bowl with the chicken. Pour in the nuts and grapes. Then add your tabasco and a hefty amount of the jerk seasoning. Salt and pepper and then add however much mayonnaise you would like. Mix and serve. It's delightful! Refrigerate after

This post kind of makes me a little sad. I have had a lot of changes in the recent months. As I head closer to my graduation date my travels back to Texas seem a little further away. I will be applying to work there, however I'm really thinking I'll stay a while longer in the A. I am however leaving it up to the big man upstairs. I am delightfully happy!!!.. and I say that with no exaggeration. However I started thinking like a crazy Texan. Oh my gosh what if I have to get a Georgia license plate or even worse a Georgia drivers license. CDaddy said he wouldn't mind me keeping both.. but if they made me get a GA license plate.. I could keep the front one haha or just frame it. So cute! Anyways I saw a car yesterday that had a Texas Tech sticker on it and then today at lunch I saw another Texas license plate. Makes my heart ache a little... but I know I'll always have Texas in my blood wherever I go.

I got to go to Myrtle Beach this weekend and I had the best time. It's always nice to get away and see places you have never been. ALMOND TEA

I'm not kidding ya'll. This tea trumps everything good in the world.. and I mean everything. It is so yummy. My sweet cousin does jewelry parties and I went to one in Dallas and her mother-in-law made this for all the people there. I was hooked. I got home and immediately sent her a message asking what the recipe was. Well here you go guys! Love you so much I thought I would share. Yuuummmy

12 cups water, divided
4 family-size tea bags
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons almond extract
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Garnishes: lemon, lime, and orange slices
Preparation
Bring 4 cups water to a boil: pour over tea bags. Cover and steep 10 minutes; discard tea bags.

Bring remaining 8 cups water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan, stirring constantly; boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in tea, lemon juice, and extracts. Chill. Serve over ice; garnish, if desired.

This is a brand extension we did for John Deere. It's handheld gardening tools for women. Can't believe they haven't done it already. This is one of my favorite things I've done at Creative Circus. I found how great the John Deere brand is and how many people really trust and care about the brand, whether they buy the products or not. Thats huge! Wish this would be real. We also created a TV Show where 4 women who have had traumatic pasts get Jane Deere tools and learn how to start over by gardening. The posters with the hands are for that and the others are print ads for the actual brand. Enjoy!

Well Facebook has been up to no good. Everytime I get on there is some banner ad trying to ask me if I want a boyfriend. This doesn't please me.. although the shirtless lads are usually pretty hunky... it still bothers me that facebook thinks I need a boyfriend. The other thing that has weirded me out is all the daily/weekly assignments like celebrity twin. I mean I know Mark Zuckerberg didn't come up with that one. I have this strange feeling it was some High School/ College girl who has been told more than three times that she kinda sorta in a weird light after a few beers looks like Jennifer Aniston. So naturally instead of taking the compliment she rushes home gets on fb and reeeaaallly wants to change her profile picture to Jen, but yet she wants to not feel like an idiot when people so aimlessly write on her wall... uhhh thats not you. So she writes in her what are you doing box... Ummm its doppleganger week everyone put up a picture of the celeb you've been told you look like. And there you go.. high school/college girl gets her way and everyone else follows. This including me.. yes I try to play along until this whole scenario played in my head... thats when I quickly took down Denise Richards and put up my most slimming picture of me. So vain.. but let's face it... its facebook and you have to have to advertise yourself in the best way.

The newest thing is urban dictionary your name then in the comment box copy and paste what the first thing says. Ok this is where things get really funny. Urban Dictionary for those who don't know.. is completely user generated. So this is where Suzy High School/ College enters again. Shes had a rough week at school.. bullys, sorostitutes ect have really been on her case. They think shes average.. and she's gonna show them. After her doppleganger stunt went off so well she decides I'm going to urban dictionary myself... She types in Suzy and reads 1. loser, loaner, freak... well sister isn't having any of that.. she ever so casually types in a new definition.. Suzy: goddess, wonder woman, marriage material. She hits enter and copy paste into Facebook poof.. and thats how it's done. Well yes Suzy Q got me again.. I did it.. I was so embarrassed by my number one.. that instead of copy and pasting,.. I decided to blog about how ridiculous these things are.. and tell myself to get a life.. See for yourself (atleast I know out there that theres a girl named Halley who thinks she's a sex goddess).. trust me it's not me.. I'll take number 2. thanks

Ok so I have several obsessions... some greater than others, however this one I'm about to share is quite a large one. I happen to love the St. Regis hotel. I love the way it smells. I love the people that work and play there. I love the decor. I love scenery. I spent my birthday there with some close friends and some yummy champagne. It was fabulous, but more so my friends were able to experience TSR. Everyone laughed when I said I loved it so much... but they all agreed it's exactly what I said... WONDERFUL! As an extra surprise I got to view the private suite... Oh its so beautiful. Here are some pics.. pool, ice skating rink, bathroom, bed.. wonderous!!! Enjoy

Well after I cooked myself some soup, did dishes and washed a load of laundry I crawled onto my couch to do some TV surfing. To my dismay... NOTHING was on. I casually ventured to OnDemand to see if they had added new free movies to the list. Usually there are just lame horror movies and stupid kid shows... but occasionally there will be a little hidden gem. Yes, a hidden gem just like Breakfast at Tiffany's my all time favorite... just behind Sabrina that is. Now I say hidden because the OnDemand people try to trick you.. they had Breakfast at Tiffany's as Breakfast Tiffany right under the D's?? HIDDEN. But you can't get past me! As it began to play I lit my favorite Snowflake Voluspa candle and relaxed. ahhh I love everything about that movie. And I'm going to tell you them right now! I love her clawfoot bathtub couch.. in the future I would love to have one. Good thing there is a store that makes them, but it'll cost ya.

I also love her sleepwear. Um it's so precious! Like her earplug tassles... I would so wear those on a fabulous flight to somewhere fabulous. Good thing you can find those here, but I think I could make cuter. I should have made some when I lived in my old apt.. see older blog post for info. Oh almost forgot here's the mask.. presh.

Ok moving on. I love her pink princess outfit when she goes out with the Brazilian. I think that should be my birthday outfit, but I think my friends would be embarrassed. This outfit is easy.. get a pink dress and a crown.. I won't supply you with those goodies. I also really like those masks they steal from the 5 & 10. Anyways my point is that I just love that movie.. except when she puts her hair in pig tails. If I ever get the mean reds.. I'm putting that movie on. So go online shopping.. and if not for yourself.. for me! <3

I am one of many girls that thinks manicures and pedicures are just as important as haircuts and.. I dunno waxing.. if not more important. I read an article about a lady who would only hire girls with freshly polished nails or a decent manicure.... and I think this lady was in like Finance. Anyways I have kind of become addicted to certain colors... Lincoln Park at Dark, Gun Metal Gray, Russian Navy, Cha Ching Cherry... all of these are usual repeats at my mani/pedi visits. Recently I found out about a new color when my friend Ashley, who resides in New York tried it on for the evening. By looking at the bottle you can't really see it's potential, but once it is on nail... Pow, total potential. Well this morning I woke up late.. but just early enough to see Kathy Lee & Hoda talk about Bobbi's favorites. Bobbi is like the style editor for InStyle or one of those.. anyways she talked about how the blacks and navys are out and... deep breaths ladies.. neutrals are back... blah. But to my surprise there was that color again CHINCHILLY. Hmm. Knowing I was gonna be getting my routine mani/pedi this Friday.. the hunt was on. I had to find this color. After discussing the matter with Ashley, via gchat, she so crassly let me know that they were sold out everywhere in NY. [enter horrid fear here.] Next step.. go to a much smaller market and try there. So naturally I called my mom in Lubbock, TX. "Mom," I said, "you have to drop everything you're doing and see if you can find Chinchilly by essie." My mom then goes thru a 10 minute relay of words she thinks I'm saying. "Effey." No Mom Essie. "Effie." No Mom Essie. She then gets frustrated says she has way to much to do and that she'll call me back later. Feeling defeated and knowing I might have to break the Fashion rules and just go dark again.. I pondered. I ran to the computer [dramatic..I was already there] and began searching stores in ATL that carried Essie nail polish. After calling atleast 10.. I nearly called of all search parties.. until Jolie The Day Spa answered my prayers. I am now the proud owner of Chinchilly. I'm pretty sure it looks good on everyone. A perfect ending to an ok day. Mani/Pedi fanatics of the world.. I know sympathize!

I have always bitched at my friends for getting tattoos because hello they are permanent! I never wanted to be some 80 year old with a saggy butterfly tat on my back. Not only that but tattoos just don't look pretty. The only one I really ever liked was Nicole Richey's rosary beads on her ankle. Well now Chanel has created a line of temporary tattoos and I want them. All the rage of a tattoo and all the benefits of gladly wiping them away before going to the office. Loves it!

Well, I guess I’m not the only person lusting after the SS10 tattoos. Chanel has announced that come March 1st, they will release Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel, a set of 55 temporary tattoos, retailing for £49. (about $78 USD)

EDMOND, Okla. -- Police are asking for help finding a missing University of Oklahoma senior who hasn't been seen since early Friday.

Julia Gilbert, 21, was last seen leaving a friend's home in the 600 block of Belle Air at 3:30 a.m. and driving to her parents' home in the 6700 block of Cypress Hollow. The two addresses are about seven miles apart.

Gilbert was driving a 2002 silver Volkswagen Jetta with Oklahoma tag number 607BJK. The car had a Kappa Alpha Theta sorority sticker on the back windshield.

She is a senior at the University of Oklahoma and is scheduled to graduate in May.

Julia Gilbert, 21, hasn't been seen since leaving a friend's house in Edmond at about 3:30 a.m. on January 8.

I was so shocked by this that I immediately called my mom. She was kidnapped at a young age, with two kids. She started to get really upset and she talked about how girls are age really should be careful. I am hoping Julia comes home safely and my family, friends and I are praying for the Gilberts especially Julia.

Police have notified hospitals and law enforcement agencies to check for signs that Gilbert had been involved in a crash. They were particularly concerned because of the brutal overnight temperatures.

Police asked anyone who knows where Gilbert has been since 3:30 a.m. Friday to call 911 or the Edmond Police Department at 405-359-4424.

Yesterday I started coming down with something. This usually happens when I get little or no sleep. I remember being really little at slumber parties and trying to stay up and sure enough the next day I would get sick. Well I guess I stayed up a little to late with my friends in NY and I thought I had lost my voice. I decided yesterday to go to the doctor just to make sure I could stop it in it's tracks. My body was achey I was tired and I had no voice. I sat for 30 minutes in the waiting room. They called me in and asked me for my symptoms.. after the nurse left I could hear her telling the doctor my name and my symptoms. All of a sudden I hear the doctor getting upset that she couldn't leave and how basically she thought I should just go home and walk it off. I got super uncomfortable. I kept second guessing how I was feeling and wondering if I should just leave. Just as I was at the peak of anxiety... the nurse came in with a really long q-tip. I am not afraid of needles or pills or anything else at the doctor... well that was until the flu test. She took that long q-tip and stuck it up my nose so far I know it hit my brain. She did it to both nostrils. I literally died.. it was awful. Come to find out no flu.. but that test was awful! Looks like the common cold is way worse than I thought. 2 days in.. haven't left the house, can't move, miserable. Tomorrow, tomorrow I hope its a better day.

I decided to look up my family Tree. My mom's side is really weird and almost everything my grandmother told my mom was a lie.. matter of fact I remember asking her for info about our family when I was in the 3rd grade and she told me she didn't know and they all had died?? Well Christmas is just around the corner. Being at home is lovely. I love seeing all the Christmas cards... oh and all the joyous Wedding Invites! Being a single gal... makes the holidays so sparkly and wonderful. Why just yesterday I was shopping with mom as she asked me about all my friends from high school and college whom are either engaged, or yes... are already in wedded bliss. As she listed the names I said yes, yes, married, engaged, married.. will be proposed to next week. She looked at me and said.. "well looks like we need to go shopping for someone special.. or a husband hahahah!" All jokes aside. I am so happy for all my friends. I just wish I had someone to take to their weddings. Anyways wherever ya'll are go ahead and find some mistletoe and kiss! I'm looking into getting some cats. How is 5 to start out.. too much.. okay we'll see. Merry Christmas Everyone!! <3

I have been so eager to get home to Lubbock. After my finals.. aka panel.. I packed my suitcase wrapped my gifts and then basically waited to get on the plane. Well I couldn't wait long enough. I got a dear friend to take me to the airport at 10 and hopped on the earliest flight to Dallas they had. Being that my original flight was at 3:40.. the 1:00 arrival in Dallas made my life complete. I ran to my gate in DFW and was greeted by an old friend. As we talked I got more excited about being at home and being with my family. The plane finally arrived and me and my bag jumped on. I was thrilled that it wasn't a full flight and I had my own little section. I nestled in and began to shut my eyes when I heard... "GD I don't know who in their GD mind would get their education in Texas... much less Lubbock GD Texas." Well obvi I was awakened by this.. I get very upset when people talk about my hometown much less my home state. I had to take a peek of this loser. As I shot eyes over at the jerk he said to the boy behind me... "I hate Texas and I have to go to my neice's graduation in Lubbock. What an awful place." I had just about had it with this fat old yankee. When he said to me.. "I bet you're from Texas with those boots and all." I didn't know he was talking to me, so I looked over and asked, "me?" He said, "yeah you.. and I bet you own a horse too." Uhhg I was very upset at this point. I said, "No sir, I do not own a horse, but I grew up riding them. And my whole family went to school in Lubbock and I have great friends that went to school in Texas and you better watch your words on thisflight, because most of these people are going home TO LUBBOCK TX." Well I was angry, beyond angry actually. He kept on... and the more he continued the more and more I wanted to boot him of the plane with a good ole Texas kick. He then went on talking to me about how much he hated lawyers. Oh no no no I thought. So he says... "matter of fact miss I've never met a lawyer I didn't think was a snake." Well I was about to put this man in his place... I had had it! I said, "well my Dad is an attorney... but he doesn't represent everybody, and he is the kindest man I have ever known." Oh no Mr. Ohio man had more tricks for me.. but I've been in ATL long enough to have my ghetto-ness up to speed. He began whining about how he hated kids and had been thru several marriages all which failed and he was living alone in a 3 story house. Well although I wanted to close my eyes and shut this ugly old miserable man out of my life.. I tend to have a bit of a temper when people talk about the things I love in an ill manner. So I uncrossed my legs and recrossed them on the other side. I pulled back my hair, applied a small amount of gloss on my lips and turned to the man and said, "Oh how sad you must be. Oh and how lonely you must be without anyone... especially during the holidays... its such a good thing that your niece at Tech actually wanted you to visit her. I don't know if I would be the same way. You know us Texans don't really like people who don't like Texas to visit." I winked and smiled and put in my ipod. My heart was racing and I felt good. I felt like I had conquered the world.. well the northern part anyways.. it felt good. It made me think about the OU/TX rivalry.. and I though you know what.. as long as it's the south and it has anything to do with Texas, my family, or the things I love.. I support it. So I felt great walking of the plane in my cowboy boots. I grabbed my bags and saw him walk by and he stopped and turned and smirked and said, "you have a good time." I said, "No.. you have a good time.. and oh by the way try to smile a little more while youre at it.. after all youre in TX!" So the moral of the story is people tend to love where they are from and they are not shy about expressing it. But come on ya'll Texas is God's country! and Amen for that!

Another quarter has come and gone. Tomorrow is Panel and I cannot wait. It's always a little nerve racking, but once it's over there's not a better feeling. I can't believe I only have 3 left. Pretty scary. At least I'll have a little more time this break to blog! I'm seriously looking forward to it. Pretty soon it will be a new year and a new quarter. Chapters

I like to think of lives as books. Everyone has a different one. Some mysteries, romance, and even fiction. Each little significant event is a chapter in these life books. It may not always be good, but it's in there stored and written. I thought about those little chapters in which I wanted something so badly to happen and I was devastated that it didn't. It was all because I wasn't the author someone up above us all was. I recently ran into an old boyfriend of mine after Thanksgiving. I thought about our relationship as I looked at him. I said hi and he said nothing. His sweet girlfriend shrugged her shoulders in embarrassment and introduced herself to me. I just smiled and thought how happy I was that that chapter was closed. I was happy that he had started a new chapter and that was so amazing to me. Now being at home after Thanksgiving another chapter in my life closes. Although it was painful, I'm excited about new adventures in 2010! I hope this holiday your chapters in your book are full whether they continue on or you turn to another. Life is good!

I live on the 8th floor of my complex... yes the very tip top. Well If you have ever driven to the top you would know that the parking garage only goes to the 7th floor and then you have to take the stairs. Well it literally makes me sick driving around all those tight corners.. so I park on the 2nd floor and then take it up to the 8th. Its logical. Well I'm telling you this info, because I take this journey at least 2 times a day. Every time I press that little arrow facing North, I am greeted by the opening of doors and always.. some strange odor. I'm usually interested in what smell I will find on my way to the 8th floor. To give you a sense of how different these smells are... I will show you. I have smelled....

After some reflection yesterday I realized that there are things that bother me and there are things I just don't trust. Im only 23, but I have had my bumps and bruises. So I made a little list... print and stick it on your fridge

1. Don't trust an Athlete... especially if they sit on the bench.

2. Don' trust someone who wants to be on a reality show/ is.

3. Don't trust someone who would rather text your mom than you.

4. Don't trust someone who wants to have a relationship, but wants you to be single..

5. Don't trust someone who will give an inch for your mile.

6. Don't trust someone who doesn't trust you.

7. Don't trust someone who is never on your side.

8. Don't trust someone who doesn't believe in you and your dreams.

22 years ago on a very cold Halloween Night my family opened the door to trick-or-treaters. To our surprise the kids at the door weren't interested in candy, but rather a tiny kitty freezing by our jack-o-lantern. It was the warmest place for her. She was so tiny and cold. She was only about 6 weeks old. I think God brought her to us. My whole family is allergic to cats. My mom said absolutely not.. when we begged to keep her. She told us to put her in a box in the garage. As the temp began to drop my Mom ran to the garage and brought her in. Little did we know she had tons of fleas. Over the years we shared many laughs and tears with that little precious pur pur. She has been in 6 houses with us. She was always a curious one.. she got out when we moved to our most recent house and it took days and days to find her. We were so upset. My mom would drive from morning to night.. until one day she spotted her on our street in the bushes. She was very frail but with love and baby food we nursed her back to health. She was very much apart of our family. Today has been a really hard day. I have shed some pretty big crocodile tears.

This morning at about 10 my Mom called and I knew something was wrong. She said Pumpkin couldn't control her bladder and that she was crying. I could hear her little meows in the background. My mom said that this would probably be the last day. I lost it. Then we got the call that they had to put her down, bc she was suffering. I know for some of ya'll you may think our family is nuts. But I feel like a lost a family member. I am going home next week and I cannot believe she won't be there. She will be cremated and will be with us forever. We love you so much pumpkin and you changed our lives!

Ok so my friend emailed me this website of this girl in GA who is a pescetarian like me.. she lost 40 pounds and kept it off for 7 years. I tend to do yo yo a bit and I want to lose 25-30. I know its gonna be hard, but Michael thought it would help if I incorporated my progress in my blog. So here it goes. Day 1.. started the journal and printed everything out. The website says I should have significant weight loss in 3 months. Whew. Ok i'll be the first to admit that I'm not a very "outdoorsy" girl. I loved loved going to camp as a kid and even as an older girl, but "roughin it" just isn't my idea of fun. I know exactly when it started too. I remember being in Indian Princesses with my Daddy and we had to go camping for our big trip. I was so excited.. we had the tents, the hot dogs and sleeping bags.. ok ok we had cots too, because my Dad doesn't really like camping either. It was really fun until.... the girls had to go to the bathroom. I knew at that point that using the bathroom outside was not ok. The next turning point was going to bed dirty and cold. I was too little for my sleeping bag so my feet froze. Oh my gosh it was awful! I even remember it being so cold that one dad/daughter group slept in their car. Another experience was in 9th grade when we had the option to either go to I think it was Florida to stay in a hotel or Wyoming to camp. My stupid.. boy filled class chose camping. Guuuh. I knew it was bad when our "girl" camping guide had longer armpit hair than the hair on my head and she smelled like a raccoon. All these events left a really bad taste in mouth.. and thats literally because there wasn't running water to brush my teeth. However I loved slumber parties and if I went to another.. I would totally take these new sleeping bags! So for all you outdoorsy people... here is the sleeping bag you should get.. especially if you need to run away from the Blair Witch.

Halloween is gone and November has made its way in our lives... oh but oh it was fun. Halloween is a holiday that never disappoints... it's not like New Years or Valentines Day that always get your hopes up, but you know you are always going to have a great time. Can't complain about my company this year either. Andre got us tickets to a Halloween Block Party where they had music and tons of venues all around.. literally no lines.. tons of dancing and great costumes. I had a great time, but now it's time to put away the costumes and start being thankful... and boy am I ever!

The store is so simple but cute it truly is wonderful to sit at the wooden tables and enjoy lunch or just look at their old bottled soda collections. I love their fresh food and friendly faces.
